The workshop demonstration uses in-memory state and does not persist customer records. Account sign-in uses browser session storage mechanisms supplied by the authentication service. A full browser storage inventory, purpose and duration must be verified before launch.
Essential account storage
Sign-in/session storage is intended to support authentication and security. The owner must confirm whether each storage mechanism qualifies as strictly necessary under applicable UK rules.
Analytics and advertising
No advertising or analytics integration is activated by this upgrade. Confirm the published hosting environment’s actual behaviour before stating that no optional cookies exist. Obtain appropriate consent before activating optional tracking.
Managing storage
Users can manage cookies and site data through browser settings. Clearing authentication storage may sign them out. A consent preference interface must be added if non-essential storage is introduced.
